The solid waste landfill in Ekizağıl location of Kırşehir was a potential energy center candidate that was owned but not activated.

In 2017, we made the solid waste landfill, which was transformed by our research on the environment and strategic energy planning, a symbolic importance in the development of the city with an installed energy power of 1 MW. Disposing of 150 tons of garbage daily at the facility contributes to the clean air of the city and meets the energy needs of 3,500 residences. We have made the Kırşehir Landfill Gas Power Generation Facility an exemplary city investment for the environmental policies and innovative energy generation technologies of the 21st century.
